For the children in the Home we have the Association of the Friends of the Home which is an NGO with the specific
aim to help the Home. Since its registration in 2002 it has accomplished the following:
Ford-Motopfohe project "Green games - blue skies" for 500 euro
PHARE scheme for the improvement of the life of people with mental disabilities BG2003/004-937.01.04-6.11, component 6, 9970 euro
Improvement of the living conditions of the Home with 45 new beds (11107 lv), a physical rehabilitation room (6123 lv), a pool (560 lv), a fountain for physical exercises (6200 lv), an animal corner (960 lv). Right now the Association is looking for funds for the refurbishment of basement rooms in the Home
